Couple pleads guilty to meth lab charges.


SANDUSKY,Ohio

A couple who operated a methamphetamine lab on Maple Street pleaded guilty Monday in Erie County,Ohio Common Pleas Court to drug-related charges and endangering children.

Joseph Stone, 35, and his wife Robin Stone, 27, were arrested in March after police raided what they believed to be the first meth lab in Sandusky,Ohio.

Joseph Stone was sentenced to four years and 11 months in prison. Robin Stone faces up to four and a half years in prison and will be sentenced Dec. 13.

The lab appeared to be a small-scale operation, according to police.

The rented house was condemned, and neighbors living on the second floor were forced to move elsewhere.

The Stones' two children, ages 4 and 6, were put in county care after the raid.
